Superbowl 2010!
Try this party idea. Here is a change of pace from the usual Buffalo Wings that you find at many parties. These skinny chicken legs are lower in carbohydrates because you don’t have the sugar in a sauce, just plain old fashioned spices with a sprinkle of my favorite ingredient-cheese.
- 4 lbs of chicken wings and drumsticks
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1 tablespon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 350
- Combine Parmesan cheese and parsley, oregano, paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Line shallow baking pan with foil.
- Melt the butter in a shallow bowl in microwave on half power, or in a pan
- Dip drumsticks in butter, roll in cheese and seasoning mixture, and place on foil lined pan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
Yields about 50 pieces. trace of carbohydrates, and 4 grams of protein.
