Not So Skinny Mona Lisa had High Cholesterol?

Once you do get skinny

You want have your portrait done.  You might consider discussing with the artist how much of the real you to portray. Or perhaps let the artist paint away and send it to Vito Franco, professor of pathological anatomy at the University of Palermo for diagnosis.

The Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci,

Dr. Franco noticed that under  Mona Lisa’s left eye, there is a small build up of yellowish fatty acids under the skin  which is a sign of xanthelasma.  Another sign of high cholesterol in the painting?  Her hands show fatty tissue tumors.

Your infinite quest on how to get skinny

Consider those signs of high cholesterol.  Though many have had good results with the ease of following a low carbohydrate diet, it would be irresponsible to embark on a sausage eating spree.  Protein is good, but like anything, sometimes too much of a good thing is… well… just too much.

Be selective with your proteins.

Just because the low carbohydrate diet allows you to eat fat, it makes sense that you will lose weight even faster if you can keep the fats to a reasonable level.  Not to mention the health benefits.  Fats not only wreck havoc with cholesterol, but have been detrimental to diabetics as well.

Best advice for dieters

You have heard this before, but now you might understand the value of it…please see a doctor and evaluate your health condition before starting any diet.  This way you will be able to pick a diet that not only you can stick to and successfully lose weight, but also a diet that won’t contribute to health issues in the future when you get skinny.
